They appear very flashy,
Clourful like Butterflies
But only perch for nectar

They give you hopeless hopes
Politely, they insult you
Subtley, they control you
They are shadows in reality

You marry them in your dreams
You build your world for them
Thinking their future is yours
But they have other plans

They make use of Microscopes
To magnify disputes and rifts
Seeing something where there’s none
Turning Micro-faults to Macro-defects

They only stay for a while
Then move on to their next victim
Abruptly, they leave you hanging
At the orgasm of your relationship.
